The suspect is described as being around 5ft 9in in height, of stocky build, around 45-year-old and was wearing all dark clothing with a dark face covering. Detective Constable Robert McKinstray from Cambuslang CID said: “Thankfully the woman wasn’t seriously injured but left understandably shaken by this incident. “Our enquiries into the incident are ongoing and there will be increased patrols in the area over the coming days. “We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who was in the area around the time and may have dash cam footage which could assist us to get in touch.”
