Two vehicles involved
A crash on a major road connecting Accrington and Rossendale resulted in two people being passed into the care of North West Ambulance Service.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said the collision involved two vehicles. Firefighters assessed two casualties before placing them in the care of paramedics and Lancashire Constabulary closed the road in both directions.One person posted on social media: "Avoid Manchester Rd Baxenden, police, fire and ambulance in attendance. Crash!! Just outside the village club at bottom of Langford st.
