Former U.S. President Donald Trump’s social media app Truth Social launched on Feb. 20. It was the top free app in Apple’s App Store on Feb. 23.
Trump’s company Trump Media & Technology plans to go public through a merger with special-purpose acquisition company Digital World Acquisition Corp. Shares of DWAC closed up 10% to $92.90 on Feb. 22.
