A bride was spotted watching on as mercy crews attended the incident in Hamilton this afternoon.
A driver has been taken to hospital after three cars crashed outside a wedding in Hamilton. The multi-vehicle smash took place on Cadzow Street, Hamilton shortly after 1.30pm on Saturday, November 5.
Emergency services, including Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service, sped to the crash site to assist the victims, one of whom was taken to University Hospital Wishaw for treatment.A photograph taken from the scene shows a bride and wedding party huddled nervously on the pavement as they watch the aftermath of the crash unfold.
An ambulance. can be seen parked across the road next to at least three cars which appear to be abandoned in the middle of the street. Members of the public also stand on another section of pavement. A probe has now been launched so officers can piece together exactly what happened. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.35pm on Saturday, 5 November, 2022, officers were called to reports of a three vehicle crash on Cadzow Street, Hamilton.
