Nicholas Latifi reveals Lewis Hamilton sent 'very positive message' after F1 finale death threats
, Latifi said: “I think it was the day of the statement I put out because obviously that day still sticks out in my mind, it was a very positive thing to do.
“But he did send me a really nice message which was fully in support, I even had some messages from top team members at Mercedes who reached out along with countless visible ones on social media from team accounts and drivers.
“I think that was one of the strong points I wanted to hammer home to all the race fans or people that were watching from home, in reality it doesn’t matter whether I’m racing for P19, P20, points or the podium.The position Latifi was fighting for may have been inconsequential but he wouldn’t be an F1 driver if he just gave up
