People put so much pressure on themselves to curate exactly the right Disneyland vacation, down to the outfits to wear that will complement each land. And once they get there, the expectations are so high that couples break out in fights, children have meltdowns, parents snap at their kids and friends stare at their phones to avoid conversation. I’ve seen it countless times. But there’s a secret to avoiding all of that and still havingIf this sounds simple, that’s because it is.
But when I’d get home, I felt like a broken sack of bones. My whole body hurt, and I just felt sad about how little we actually enjoyed ourselves when we were there. It’s called the “Disney hangover” for a reason, and it comes from not taking enough time to appreciate the small moments. There are ways to get quality time in the parks instead of quantity. The best one, in my opinion, is to identify a couple of must-do things you’ll really be sad to miss, and then let the rest work itself out while you’re there., will help you get on rides faster and free up more of your time to stroll around the park and take in the scenery and meticulous landscaping.
