The six-year-old, from Inverness, was found unconscious in the pool on October 6 and was rushed to Paphos General Hospital.
The child was reportedly found by his mother and taken to the Makario Children's Hospital, 90 miles from Nicosia. A spokesperson for the UK Government's Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office said: "We are supporting the family of a British national in hospital in Cyprus."
