THREE Scots are among the contestants on a new BBC reality series – a reboot of Survivor.
The new UK series is set to be hosted by Joel Dommett and will see contestants"marooned in a tropical location where they are divided into two tribes, competing against each other in a range of physical and mental challenges" in an attempt to be crowned the Sole Survivor.
Survivor UK returns to television screens for the first time in more than 20 years after first airing with ITV back in 2001/02.Among the 18 contestants are three Scots, including flood risk consultant Doug, 32, from the Isle of Mull. He said he thought his height would come in handy for the show and added: “I was hopeful I could put my height, I’m 6ft 4in, to good use and help my tribe get to those hard-to-reach places, get the shelter up, and hopefully be a useful asset for the challenges.
