Patients who have had treatment cancelled up to four times ‘don’t blame’ doctors for strikes

It’s now been rescheduled four times., and it led to serious health issues. I went to the doctors several times and they couldn’t work out what was wrong with me, I’d lost four stone and I couldn’t walk or sit down.
My doctor told me in October last year that they’d definitely be able to get the operation booked in for the following year. I thought it would be at the start of this year. I got a call in January saying they could book me in for the 15th, they then pushed it to a week later, then on 22 February, two weeks before I was due to have my operation, it was cancelled again. They’ve now said this week again that it will be pushed back until May. I have not had a life since November 2020.
