The Grosvenor Casino closed in July 2015 and the unit has lain empty ever since
"Discussions are always taking place" to fill an old casino on a coastal town's waterfront eight years after it closed.
The casino had been let on a 25 year lease of £180,060 a year and closed due to the venue losing money. Sean Martin is the chair of the local New Brighton Coastal Community group. He said: "The only good use for the building is a gym which would work quite well. It's not really suitable for retail.
