Opinion: Save some electricity, attend a Padres game [Opinion]
That’s 37,130 people who, maybe like me, shut their houses down hardly using a single kilowatt from the time we left our single-family residences, apartments and hotel rooms from approximately 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. , which is about the time frame for our current Flex Alerts.
So in effect, as a collective, we took 37,130 people off the electrical grid, probably to the writer’s benefit.I would be happy to offer the writer a free seat next to me in my season ticket seats to have fun while conserving energy. Why stay at home in the dark when you can enjoy a Padres game and conserve with so many like-minded people as a group rather than complaining as an individual?
