Ronald Herman is next expected to appear in Saskatoon provincial court on March 10, facing charges stemming from a Feb. 23 incident in which he sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Court documents show police allege Herman was carrying a knife and pointed a firearm at an officer. Police said in a previous media release that the shooting happened in the area of Avenue U South and 22nd Street West.Police said officers responded to a call at 11:35 a.m. about an armed man at a home in the 200 block of Avenue L South and were told there was a physical altercation at the door and a man fled on foot with a handgun and a machete.
