, which began around 5pm on Saturday at the River North Esk.
Two water rescue units and three fire appliances were at the scene near to the Blue Door at the Gannochy Bridge, near Edzell, in Angus.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police were made aware of a 15-year-old boy in difficulty in the water in the River North Esk near Gannochy Bridge, Edzell, around 5.10pm on Saturday, July, 15 2023.A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 5.03pm on Saturday, July 15, to an incident at Blue Door River Walk in Edzell.
