LIU rallied with Howell’s 16-yard touchdown pass to Davon Wells and a 1-yard touchdown run by Glascoe on consecutive possessions. The Sharks failed on two-point conversion tries after each touchdown.
Freshman Nick Whitfield Jr., making his second start, was 18-of-26 passing for 209 yards for the Red Flash . He had one TD pass. Deondre Scott had 106 yards rushing, including one touchdown.
