Leicester City boss Enzo Maresca has revealed his admiration for Liverpool ahead of the Carabao Cup clash with his-flying side.
Maresca spent last season as one of Pep Guardiola’s assistants, having previously coached Manchester City’s elite development side. The Leicester job is his second managerial role, following a brief spell in charge of Parma, and the Italian has revealed the influence that Jurgen Klopp’s team have had on his coaching career.
The Foxes boss admitted that he will name a much-changed side against Liverpool - with ex-Red and former Everton defender Conor Coady competing for a starting spot. However, Maresca was full of compliments for Liverpool and backed the club to be challenging for major honours in the near future with their revamped squad.
