English teacher Deborah Coulter sadly passed away suddenly over the weekend.
Letters were sent out on Sunday to inform parents of the tragedy and offer pupil support and counselling, East Kilbride News reports.
Paying tribute, Fiona Mullen said: "The whole school community is deeply saddened by the loss of our friend, colleague and teacher Deborah Coulter. "Father Frank, our school chaplain, will continue to work very closely with our community, along with representatives from the council's psychological services team, and our own pupil support and counselling team, to offer support and space when and wherever needed.
