The new bus service takes you from the city centre straight to the centre of this idyllic Lanarkshire market town.
And one pretty market town in Lanarkshire recently hit upon the idea of putting on its own eco-bus to the city, connecting locals and visitors to the heart of Strathaven.hopped on the 3C which runs Monday to Saturday from North Hanover Street just off George Square and starts at 8.15 am and runs until the last bus from Strathaven at 5.15 pm.
Strathaven is stunning in the sunshine and feels like you have been transported to the Cotswolds with beautiful buildings, a castle, and an award-winning park with its own miniature railway - plus plenty of top pubs and businesses.The 3C eco-express runs from Glasgow straight to Strathaven and offers people the chance to visit the town, we grabbed the 1 pm bus for a pleasant trip through the Lanarkshire countryside and pretty villages like Stonehouse.
