IKEA Partners With Electrify America To Quadruple The Total Number Of EV Chargers At Its Stores | Carscoops carscoops
IKEA announced that it will partner with Electrify America and its commercial vehicle wing, Electrify Commercial, to add more than 400 individual chargers at 25 of its locations across America.
“At IKEA, we believe that we must work together with our partners to tackle climate change and create solutions for a greener future. This collaboration withwill not only bring ultra-fast public chargers to our stores for the first time but it will also help us take a big leap as we work towards our targets to become circular and climate positive,” said Javier Quiñones, CEO & Chief Sustainability Officer, IKEA U.S.
In all, IKEA will be quadrupling the number of chargers at its American locations and adding more than 200 individual ultra-fast chargers at its retail locations in 18 states.
