The latest-generation 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-In Hybrid EV has launched in Australia and will start to reach dealerships from August 15.Plug-In Hybrid EV is a 2.4-liter Atkinson cycle four-cylinder engine that works alongside two electric motors and a 20 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The engine alone is good for 98 kW while the front electric motor produces 85 kW and the rear motor adds 100 kW .
Those willing to spend AU$60,990 can pick up the keys to the Aspire. It adds things like 20-inch wheels, front and rear silver skid plate garnish, privacy glass, LED fog lights, and silver roof rails. The interior has also been upgraded with a leather steering wheel and more luxurious seats.
Topping out the range is the Exceed Tourer available from AU$68,490 . It adds a two-tone exterior body color, two-tone high grade leather interior, and driver and passenger seat massage functions.
