He'll be one of thousands following the Warriors to Dublin
A Glasgow Warriors superfan heading to Dublin for the European cup final has said it is a 'significant moment' in the club's history.
Thousands of Glaswegians are expected to make the trip over the Irish Sea to Dublin to see the Glasgow Warriors play at the Aviva stadium to take on French giants, Toulon tomorrow night at 8pm.Glasgow resident, originally from Belfast, Mark Anderson, has said he is 'extremely' excited to be heading to the European Cup final in Dublin and it is a 'significant moment' in the club's history.
"We regained the 1872 cup in December and that taste of success has spurred us on and here we are again, at a European final and it is doable. There is a great belief around everyone that this is it, the amount of fans that are travelling is just indicative of that. "We have had a lot of support from the fans of the local professional rugby team, Leinster. They have been piling on the support so we are looking at having a full stadium behind Glasgow, bar a few Toulon fans that are travelling over of course."Mark has been living in Glasgow for 19 years and will be heading along with his wife, Rachel to the game along with many other Warrior supporters.
