It comes after we reported that 999 crews attendedPolice have now said they were called to a report of a fire on a premises. They have not named the premises but a cordon is in place outside The Railway Tavern pub.
An Eyewitness told The Glasgow Times:"There is a large police presence and there is a fire alarm going off.Nearby Killin Street was also subjected to a police cordon but officers have since reopened it. It closed from Shettleston Road to Gatehouse Street.spokesperson said: “Around 2.10pm on Tuesday, 16 May, 2023, police were called to a report of a fire at a premises in the Shettleston Road area of Glasgow.
