A Home Office spokesperson said: "We are aware of a nationwide border system issue affecting arrivals into the UK. "We are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible and are liaising with port operators and airlines to minimise disruption for travellers."In a post on Twitter, bosses at Glasgow Airport have said there are currently not significant queues for those arriving at the airport and confirmed there were additional Border Staff in place."There are currently no significant queues, but at peak times entry to the UK may take longer than usual.
