Fleetcor introduces their new and improved payment card system to make fleet sustainability and management easier and more intuitive.
This month FLEETCOR introduced an updated version of their industry leading Fuelman® and Comdata® payment card systems that are designed specifically to improve fleet sustainability and meet the changing needs of fleet managers in a battery-electric future.
“As businesses increasingly look to adopt electric vehicles, the fueling landscape becomes more complex, which in turn makes fleet management more difficult,” said Alexey Gavrilenya, Group President of North America Fuel at FLEETCOR. “We are at the forefront of the energy transition by providing an enhanced, comprehensive management and payment platform to help customers efficiently manage fleets with any fuel mix.
Driven by a need for businesses to reimburse employees who charge their company EV at home, FLEETCOR is partnering with Motorq, a connected-car data and analytics company, to capture charge event data directly from electric vehicles. The new platform tracks every charging event, at every charger type and location, and calculates costs and manages expense reimbursement for company vehicles charged at employee’s homes.
