They were 'panicking and going dizzy'
A person's 'faith in humanity' was restored after they were helped by a stranger after an incident in Old Market Square. The unnamed person took to discussion website Reddit to explain how they 'went flying' and suffered an injury.
The post read: "I went flying in Market Square the other day and injured my already-torn ankle. A lovely man came and helped me up, walked me to Spoons so I could sort myself out, and stayed with me whilst I was panicking/going dizzy. "He told me his name but I can’t remember it, BUT I wanted to say thank you in case he was on here! Restores faith in humanity and all that."Responding to the post, one Reddit user said: "I'm sorry you fell my dude, I'm glad someone helped you."
A fellow commenter added: "Awesome. Joseph Else? Hope you're okay." The original poster replied: "That’s the one! Yes, thank you, just a sprain, hobbling but doing okay and back at work."
