New Line Cinema announced on Monday that Evil Dead Rise will release digitally on May 9, 2023, while also setting the 4K and Blu-ray release.
Evil Dead Rise 4K and Blu-ray release dateFollowing the film’s digital release this month, a handful of physical options will be available beginning on June 27, 2023. These include a 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack, and DVD, all of which will be available for $44.98, $34.98, and $29.98, respectively.
The digital version of the film will be available to own at home for $24.99, with a 48-hour rental option also available for $19.99. Alongside the film, the 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD, and digital versions of the film will also include a wealth of bonus features. Evil Dead Rise stars Alyssa Sutherland and Lily Sullivan , along with Gabrielle Echols , Morgan Davies , and Nell Fisher .confirmed that the movie wouldn’t have any ties to the previous films and would mainly center around the Necronomicon.
“Moving the action out of the woods and into the city, Evil Dead Rise tells a twisted tale of two estranged sisters whose reunion is cut short by the rise of flesh-possessing demons, thrusting them into a primal battle for survival as they face the most nightmarish version of family imaginable,” reads the film’s synopsis.
