Rishi Sunak has expressed his concern that vape companies are targeting children

Disposable vapes are to be axed in a bid to prevent children from becoming addicted, according to reports. In new government plans set to be unveiled next week, disposable vapes will be banned.

PM Rishi Sunak - who is a father to two young daughter - has voiced his concern at the rate nicotine e-cigarettes are being regularly bought and consumed by minors in the UK. He also expressed his discomfort that children are the focus of suppliers. "Vaping is not an effective way to cope with stress, but stress and anxiety can trigger vape cravings, and make it harder for a user to quit." E-cigarettes are the best quit aid available to Brits - while a combination of nicotine patches and gum are a close second, it found.
