Chick-fil-A's newest chicken sandwich does not have any meat at all
The chicken-based fast food chain is testing a cauliflower sandwich in three markets nationwide starting next week.
Chick-fil-A’s first plant-based sandwich goes on sale Monday in Denver; Charleston, South Carolina; and the Greensboro metro area in North Carolina with an average sale price of $6.59. However, pricing could vary based on region,The cauliflower filet will be marinated and breaded in Chick-fil-A’s special seasoning, pressure cooked and served with pickles on a buttered bun.
However, the new sandwich is not vegetarian. The recipe calls for eggs and milk and no Chick-fil-a locations have vegetarian-only preparation surfaces.
