The woman was left angry at her own mum after she booked a holiday that coincided with her returning from her Las Vegas wedding
A bride-to-be has been left angry at her own mum after the later booked a holiday that coincided with her return from her wedding in Las Vegas. She said she needed her mum to look after her children while she was away getting married in the USA.
With the couple away for a total of 10 days, the husband-to-be's parents will be looking after the bride's 18-month-old daughter for the first half of the trip, with her parents taking over for the second half. But she's now been left upset by a late decision. When she spoke to her mum about a possible contingency plan, she was told that her mum would take the 18-month-old to either the bride's 17-year-old sister or her grandmother, who is 75. "I'm not happy with this," she admitted. "My gran just isn't quick enough to deal with an 18-month-old on her own. Sister I would be happy with if I was an hour away, but not if I'm stuck in Vegas. Plus she has college etc.

Or ask if it's possible to switch round them having your DC [darling child] for the last part of your trip. You can't seriously expect your mother not to go on holiday. Watching your DC for that length of time is a massive favour."
