Austin's finest young talent celebrated at 11th annual Heller Awards for Young Artists
Jamias Hughes from Lockhart High and Ava Moak from Round Rock High secured the 2024 HAYA Awards, heading to the renowned Jimmy Awards ® in NYC on June 24.The Long Center for the Performing Arts in Austin , TX, hosted the 11th Annual Heller Awards for Young Artists Wednesday night, collaborating with Texas Performing Arts and Impact Arts.
Notably, winners of the top 6 individual awards will benefit from a consultation with Laura Maxwell Scott of Collier Talent Agency.Performances featured excerpts from notable musicals like Sweeney Todd, The SpongeBob Musical, and The Addams Family, with surprise messages from Broadway professionals including Jeremy Jordan and Phylicia Pearl Mpasi.
