Austin police said the teen was connected to other shootings around Austin.
AUSTIN, Texas — One person was arrested after a reported threat at the Austin Community College's Highland campus that police now believe was a prank.
ACC Police identified and questioned the person, who is not a student. No weapons were found, but officers learned that the person had violated a trespass order and arrested them for criminal trespass. "When I heard about what happened, my heart felt heavy. No one should face a situation like this – especially when they're on our campuses," Chancellor Russell Lowery-Hart said in the letter."I am immensely proud of the students and employees who stepped up and reported this incident and our responding officers who were able to quickly de-escalate the situation and restore safety on campus.
