Based on Tembi Locke's From Scratch: A Memoir of Love, Sicily and Finding Home, the show follows Amy Wheeler, an American woman who discovers romance while studying abroad in Italy. In addition to Saldaña, it stars Eugenio Mastrandrea, Danielle Deadwyler, Keith David, and Kellita Smith.
