and the nation's most popular chocolate producer have brought their fan-favorite collaboration to Texas.
Starting today, Yuengling Hershey's Chocolate Porter will be available for purchase in stores across the state where Yuengling is sold. Yuengling and Hershey's, both iconic Pennsylvania-based brands, launched the beer in 2019. Today marks the first time it can be purchased in Texas. The release comes on the heels of Yuengling partnering with the Molson Coors Beverage Co. to form the Yuengling Company in 2020. Headquartered in Fort Worth, the company's first wave of brews hit the Texas market in 2021 and has found a fast following with Texas drinkers.
"Last year's expansion into Texas marked the first state for the Yuengling Company, which allowed us to increase our reach beyond our East Coast footprint," Jennifer Yuengling, vice president of operations and sixth generation family member of the Yuengling brewing dynasty, said in a media release. "That is why today, we are thrilled to fuel this partnership by bringing the fall-fan-favorite Yuengling Hershey's Chocolate Porter to Texas.
