Creators keep 70% of the revenue obtained through Super Chats or Super Stickers, which are essentially tips that viewers can send to their favorite creators. Creators can also enable ads on live streams. YouTube allows channels to run pre-roll ads before a live stream, mid-roll ads that can be manually inserted during live streams and overlay ads that can appear during the programming. These ad units are particularly appealing to some advertisers, as they cannot be skipped by the user.
