District Attorney Joe Gonzales has publicly stated he will seek an indictment of this police officer. He should. Gonzales established a specialized department to deal with police officers who break the law either by intent or negligence. This police officer should be charged and taken to trial. My late husband was three times the commander of Alamo Post No. 2, and I am aware the American Legion is nonpartisan. Its bylaws do not permit such campaigning. Gross incompetence has met extreme right-wing ideology, with the losers being Texas electricity ratepayers, and the winners being natural gas production companies, pipelines and electric utilities.
