Kindness doesn't cost a thing, and these young brothers from Philippi have the richest hearts. The boys, 8 and 12, carried a dog that had been hit by a car all the way to the Animal Welfare of South Africa's hospital.

“There is one thing that we know for sure and it’s that acts of kindness cost nothing and despite the hardship of many families, especially those living in informal settlements, there are still many with kind hearts who give selflessly without the expectation of compensation,” says the Animal Welfare of South Africa .

They then grabbed an empty refuse bag and slid her in, making sure that she was comfortable and could breathe. The brothers took turns carrying the injured pup to the hospital.
