Courtney Bodwick has a terrible history of violence.
A mum who left a friend with 20 knife wounds after a brutal murder bid has been jailed for more than five years.
The stabbing occurred at Bodwick's flat in Rutherglen, in the early hours of October last year. Miss McTaggart had gone to wash a glass in the kitchen when the mum-of-two approached from behind and hit her. Bodwick later told officers the victim was "a mother figure" and denied at the time causing the injuries. She added: "That is something that I would never do. Never in a million years, never."
