“He’s really good. We were at least a little bit concerned coming in,” Boone said. “It’s encouraging.” Despite the lack of production from DJ LeMahieu and Anthony Rizzo since their return from injuries, Boone said both are OK, although they may have to deal with the issues the rest of the season.
