Ian ‘Scouse’ Langley was killed by an XL Bully on Tuesday An XL Bully which mauled a dad to death in Sunderland reportedly attacked two dogs before the fatal attack. Ian ‘Scouse’ Langley, 54, was killed by the dog whilst protecting his own puppy, Beau, on Tuesday. A man, 44, who was known to Ian, was arrested on suspicion of murder, and the dog was destroyed at the scene. Janice Gonzales, a friend of Mr Langley’s, said she knew of two other victims, MailOnline reports.
‘I heard noises and thought it was people fighting,” she said. ‘I looked out of the window and all of a sudden was shouting “help, help'”. ‘I went out and the guy was on the floor bleeding.’ She said the injured man’s neck was badly injured. She said he got up and then collapsed and locals tried to help with first aid until the emergency services arrived. He was reportedly trying to protect his puppy called Beau Neighbours were told to stay inside before they ‘heard the gun shot’.
