The Quiet Council have always been a morally complex group, but a preview for Immortal X-Men 12 (coming Wednesday) shows the iconic villain Selene making another attempt to join. If she's successful, mutantkind will officially be ruled by villains.

An exciting new preview for Immortal X-Men #12 reveals that, through the manipulation of the vile Sebastian Shaw and the corrupted Colossus, the immortal mutant "vampire" Selene will be elected onto Krakoa's Quiet Council, a decision that will surely have grave impacts on the mutant nation.
