Danielle Finlay-Edward was diagnosed with stage four bowel cancer in September 2023, which has now spread to her ovaries - known as mucinous carcinoma, a rare type of cancer deemed incurable. The brave 38-year-old battled four rounds of chemotherapy, which were unfortunately "completely ineffective". After spending November in hospital, Danielle's sister Victoria suggested she moved into Craigielea Care Centre in Renfrew, where she works as a quality officer
