A man has complained of the woman's 'severe' reaction
A man has complained of a woman's 'severe' reaction - after she paid for her own meal on their second official date. The man took to Reddit's Dating Advice forum to ask whether or not he had been in the wrong.
The anonymous man said: "When we first met she mentioned that she always expects the man to pay, which I don't mind as I'm always prepared to cover any expense and I had paid for almost everything up to this point. Anyway, yesterday we were at a food hall and they took our orders separately because I'm assuming they didn't realise we were together."I didn't think much of this so she ordered first and paid for her food, then I paid for mine.
"Personally, I don't understand the severity of the reaction. It’s really not that deep and I don't feel like the situation required me to step in." He added: "I'm pretty certain that we aren't on the same page and we won't be going on another date but I wanted to get some opinions on whether I was in the wrong to let her pay?" In the comments, lots of people supported the man.
