A 999 response raced to Argyle Street at 11.10pm yesterday after receiving reports of an assault. On arrival, medics found a 28-year-old woman injured.
She was taken by ambulance to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. Images from the incident show a cordon erected outside a McDonald's as police and ambulance crews deal with the disturbance.A Police Scotland spokesperson said : “Officers received a report of an assault at Argyle Street in Glasgow which happened at around 11.10pm on Wednesday, 20 July, 2022. A 28-year-old woman was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
