Blackpool woman lost five stone after struggling to fit into dream wedding dress
When a 44-year-old Blackpool woman first got engaged she was over the moon and couldn't wait to go and pick the perfect dress.
After years of struggling with her weight, she has seen and felt a huge change in herself since joining Slimming World. Mandy said: "When you’re overweight, it can be hard to feel confident as the centre of attention so losing five stone for my wedding feels fantastic. To share my special day, and the journey that led to it, with all of my friends and family was truly special."

Without their care, compassion and encouragement, I really don’t think I’d be where I am now.” Before Slimming World Mandy would have takeaways every night of the week due to time commitments, but now her and her husband cook more meals and rely on Slimming World Iceland meals. She takes fruit everywhere with her to stay in control of snacking too.
