The Harris County Sheriff's Office responded to a road rage shooting Tuesday night.

A woman was hospitalized after getting wounded Tuesday night in an apparent road rage shooting, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. The woman was driving in the middle lane of Farm-to-Market 529 in west Houston when she reportedly got caught in between two vehicles with passengers shooting at each other, Sgt. Charles Gbunblee told On Scene reporters.2 Woodlands Elite cheerleaders shot in H-E-B parking lot near Austin, police and cheer company sayAfter being shot, the woman pulled into a parking lot to call for help. Law enforcement arrived around 8:15 p.m.
The motorists firing shots fled the scene and law enforcement was interviewing witnesses to get descriptions of the vehicles as of Tuesday night.
