A woman was hospitalized in critical, but stable condition after a fire at a Vineland senior housing complex on Wednesday evening. Vineland Fire Department responded to the D’Orazio Terrace complex on South West Avenue at 7:30 p.m. and found smoke and a kitchen fire in one unit, said Fire Chief Luigi Tramontana Jr.
An unconscious resident was removed from the apartment and responders performed emergency medical treatment before she was airlifted to Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pennsylvania, where she was admitted in critical but stable condition, Tramontana reported.
