A 61-year-old man was shot dead around 7 a.m. Sunday in a motel room in southwest Harris County.
A woman called 911 and said she shot the man at the Stafford Inn on Murphy Road because he was sexually aggressive toward her, said Sgt. Ben Beall of the Harris County Sheriff's Office.Deputies later found the man in the room, but the woman who called 911 had left the scene in a Cadillac. The phone she used to call 911 was found just outside the room, Beall said.
The man had been at the motel for about three days, according to Beall. He has not been publicly identified yet.
