The fatal collision was reported around 9:15 p.m. north of McKee Road, CHP Officer Ross Lee said. The driver was going northbound on the highway in a 2011 Toyota Camry when she struck the pedestrian, an elderly man, according to the CHP. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
