Officers were called on Wednesday evening to a residential unit on Northridge Road and found the man wounded at the scene.
The San Francisco Police Department announced on Thursday a 33-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly fatally shooting a man in Hunters Point.
The man was taken to a hospital where he died of his wound. His name was not released, though San Francisco police noted he was 36-years-old. The San Francisco Police Department announced Thursday afternoon that investigators identified Charmela Smith of San Francisco as the alleged shooter and she was subsequently placed under arrest.
