Police and paramedics were called to the scene
The 82-year-old was crossing the road at Aurs Drive in Barrhead at around 2pm on Saturday, March 25, when the incident happened.Police have said a 41-year-old man who was driving the car was questioned and a report has now been sent to the procurator fiscal.
Officers are now urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has information which can help with their investigation to get in touch by calling 101, quoting incident number 1947 of March 25.
