The new Beltane Park gaffer is looking to make the club more attractive, on and off the pitch
Martin O’Neill is trying to build a platform that makes Wishaw a more attractive club on and off the pitch, and is pleased with the progress he has made.
Off the pitch, former Royal Albert gaffer Stewart Thomson is now part of the backroom staff, who will support the under-20s, oversee recruitment and look at opposition.O’Neill reckons a maximum of two more players are needed to give him the squad he wants as he bids to climb the West of Scotland Second Division from their current third-bottom spot.
“We’re hopeful of bringing in a striker ahead of the Bonnyton Thistle game on Saturday, which will help the cause as well. More sports news from across Lanarkshire “If we get him back fit, I think we’re only looking to add another one or two.”
